The Marina Bay Link Mall has appointed Patroids as the digital agency on record. The scope of work includes digital PR, social media management and campaigns for major festivals like the coming Christmas.

The mall is part of the Marina Bay Financial Centre, and is targeted at the savvy and sophisticated professionals who live and work in the new business and financial district at Marina Bay.

Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital appoints Patroids

The Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital is one of Singapore's oldest hospitals and is set to become the largest nursing home operator in the country.

The Health Minister Mr. Gan Kim Yong announced recently that the hospital will be transforming itself into a geriatric facility with a 'one-stop' centre providing a holistic and comprehensive suite of care services for the elderly, such as outpatient services, day rehabilitation, as well as Traditional Chinese Medicine. A new 14-storey facility will be built at its current premises while four buildings will be conserved, including the front facade building.

As part of the transformation, the hospital has appointed Patroids as the digital agency to revamp its bilingual website as well as integrating social media into its online communication strategy.

Patroids was tasked by the USA (LA) regional office of Singapore Tourism Board to conceptualize and design promotional materials for the IMEX America exhibition, which is held in Las Vegas this year. Patroids is honoured that the STB team is confident with working with us despite the 15-hour time zone difference.

Far East Organization appoints Patroids as digital agency for two shopping malls

Far East Organization (FEO), the largest private property developer in Singapore, has appointed Patroids as the digital agency for two upcoming malls - Junction10 and Greenwich V.

These two malls will be the seventh and eighth FEO mall in Patroids' portfolio.

IDA selects Patroids to build digital technology guide website

The Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA), a statutory board of the Singapore Government, has appointed Patroids to build a website for the non-profit sector. The website will be a guide, written by Usha Menon of The Management Centre Asia (=mc | Asia), on using digital technologies and social media for fund-raising, volunteering mobilisation, donor engagement, community engagement, etc.

To future proof the website, it will be built using HTML5.

Patroids will be working with the Nanyang Polytechnic on the project.

Sony Pictures Entertainment re-appoints Patroids as digital agency

Patroids has been re-appointed by Sony Pictures Television Networks, Asia as the digital agency for Asia. This is the 11th consecutive year that Patroids has been appointed.

Patroids will assume digital duties for channel brands AXN Asia, Animax Asia, AXN Beyond, Sony Entertainment Television (SET) and ONE, which debuted last year with its prime Korean program offerings.

"We are excited and honored to be entrusted with the huge responsibility of managing the channels’ online presence," says Patroids' Managing Director Oh Yong Hwee.

"The work is always challenging and rewarding. For example, we worked closely with the Animax team in creating campaigns that won two awards for Best Integrated Media Promotion in this year’s Promax BDA International Awards. We will aim to do more for SPT Networks, Asia next year," he added.

Patroids re-launches HSBC Advance Personal Loan Campaign

Following the successful campaign in April, HSBC has tasked Patroids to conceptualize and launch another acquisition campaign for the Personal Loan.

The campaign again uses on Yahoo as the key media, and communicates the key benefits of the personal loan plus two incentives - a free gift and a chance to win S$1000 in the weekly draw.

Patroids launches Foursquare check-in contest for Sony

Patroids conceptualized and launched a mobile Foursquare check-in contest for Sony Style, the lifestyle retail store of Sony. The two-month contest is launched across Southeast Asia countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.

Users are asked to go to the designated Sony Style store in their country and check-in during the pre-determined time. The first three to check-in for the day wins a $10 voucher. All check-ins will also be entered into a draw to win a Sony BRAVIA 46" TV.

Leveraging on Foursquare tips feature, users must leave a comment during check-in, which is then published as a tip for the store. This helps push word-of-mouth for the store to the user's friends on Foursquare and Facebook.
